Welcome to FOVEA™.

If you looked up the definition of FOVEA™ in a dictionary you find that is a small depression in the retina of the eye where visual acuity is highest. The center of the field of vision is focused in this region, where retinal cones are particularly concentrated.

This is our inspiration for FOVEA™.

What is FOVEA™?

FOVEA™ is a cloud-based 3D model configuration tool that leverages ArchVision’s newest generation RPC™ technology allowing users to quickly and easily import, configure, and optimize 3D models. With FOVEA™ you can transform 3D models from SketchFab®, TurboSquid, Trimble's 3D Warehouse, and other 3D model sources.

FOVEA also offers users the option to download 3D model formats that are native to, or supported by: Twinmotion®, Lumion® and NVIDIA’s Omniverse™. The FOVEA™ plug-in “Lens” in AVAIL® is being designed to streamline how you find, configure, use, and share RPC™ and 3D models.

For ArchVision Dashboard or RPC Creator users, FOVEA is the all-new way to create 2D and 3D RPCs.

What is RPC?

Historically RPC stood for Rich Photorealistic Content. With the latest developments of our RPC technology, we are transforming RPC to stand for Responsive Platform Agnostic Content. Simply put, an RPC is a 3D model that is portable between modeling applications and rendering engines - a single source of truth with support for parameters. RPCs are consumable through our RPC plugins for Revit®, Rhinoceros® 3D, SketchUp®, form•Z®, 3ds Max®, Unreal Engine®, and AutoCAD®.  RPCs are built with PBR materials for rendering in your native modeling application or in third-party rendering applications such as: Enscape™, V-Ray®, Chaos® Corona, Autodesk® Arnold, and more.
